Created by entrepreneur Howard Coxe, a retired pilot from Trans Jamaica and Crop Culture, as well as a Wood Flooring Contractor. Flavours of the Past is in it's sixth year of operation, a  family run business.


Doing business under the brand "Flavours of the Past" our wines are available at select locations.


Flavours of the Past is unique in many ways, but perhaps the most interesting fact is that we make wine in small batches from products that are Jamaican such as, Ackee, Sorrel, Ginger, Pimento Berry, Sugar Cane, Noni, & Passion Fruit, with plans of adding more flavors in the coming years.


Howard didn't plan to be a winemaker.  He first began making wine after living in Virginia where he discovered the art of making wine at home in small quantities from fresh fruits such as grapes, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, peaches, plums and cherries.  So upon returning to Jamaica and recognizing that there was a need for good quality local wines, the wine-making bug hit Howard and he took the plunge.
